Dragon Phoenix (Grand), a traditional and reputable Chinese restaurant with more than four decades of experience, is well-known for providing quality traditional Cantonese cuisine. Its Founder, Master Chef Hooi Kok Wai (one of the Singapore's "4 Heavenly Chefs") created popular dishes like the Singapore's first Chilli Crab, Phoenix Spring Chicken, Yam Basket, and Kyoto Pork Ribs, which have become standard items in most Chinese eating establishments. Together with the three other "Heavenly Chefs" (the late Mr Tham Mui Kai, Mr Sin Leong and Mr Lau Yoke Pui), they created the "Lunar New Year Raw Fish", an essential dish during the festive season.
